OUR CLASSES APPROACH & BENEFITS


  • Focusing on the essentials elements of boxing technique, our classes will allow you to learn and hone your skills with a variety of drills on individual boxing bags. We'll also proportion an element of focus on a specific skill to further improve your technique.
  • Our high intensity sessions use conditioning methods practiced by modern athletes and boxers and are specifically designed to raise your heart rate and develop your energy systems.
  • You'll learn how to move through some dynamic mobility. To prepare and ignite your body and mind before any physical exercise, and to prevent injuries, we'll focus on improving the health of your joints, while activating all your key muscle groups.
  • Slowing things down using the power of breathing, you'll learn and master how to unwind and release tension moving through a range of motions designed to also improve your overall flexibility.

At BX1, we provide a holistic and engaging workout in an unintimidating environment. Come experience the fun and art of boxing and the benefit of functional training – whether or not you’ve had prior experience with any of this. And even if you do have experience, rest sure our workouts are by no means easy.

Since its inception in ancient times, boxing has grown in popularity worldwide. In addition to being a prominent and highly televised sport, it also offers a rigorous workout for those less inclined to become the next Muhammad Ali.

We respect the rigor and discipline of boxing and use these as the building blocks of our BX1 program, to which we add complementary functional training elements, allowing you to develop strength and agility in all major muscle groups.

If boxing really isn’t for you, don’t worry... we offer BX1 CIRCUIT and BODYSHOX to focus on functional movements, strength training and endurance work.
